Doctor Deng received his BSc degree in Physics from Wuhan University in 2004. He obtained his MSc and Ph.D. degree in Physics from Peking University in 2007 and 2011. His thesis topic is an investigation of coherent population trapping atomic clock. Since 2011, he has been a lecturer in Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research interests include ion trap, optical frequency standards, quantum infomation.
