Doctor Cao received his bachelor's degree in Physics at Nanjing University in 2003, and his doctoral degree at Najing University in 2008. In 2009, he joined as a postdoctoral researcher the Physics Department in Heidelberg University, Germany. In 2010, Dr. Cao moved to Hamburg University, working there until 2015. He is presently an Associate Professor in the School of Physics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. His interests mainly focuse on the dynamics of ultracold quantum gases and the nonlinear dynamics of mesoscopic phonons. Besides, he develops new numerical algorithm for the simulations.
