From November 25 to November 26, the 3rd International Workshop on Gravitomagnetism and Large-scale Rotation Measurement(GRM2021) was successfully held online. The workshop was held by the school of physics of HUST and jointly organized by the Innovation Academy for Precision Measurement Science and Technology, CAS, INFN,UTRIP. Ni Weidou, the professor of Innovation Academy of Precision Measurement Science and Technology, CAS and Zhang Jie, the professor of gravitational center, HUST were nominated as the chairmen. All the attendee including 29 scientific researchers from German, Italy and Japan as well as more than 30 researchers are from domestic research institutes including HUST, CAS and PKU.
On behalf of our school, Prof. Chen Xiangsong, the Dean of the School of Physics expressed congratulations on the opening of "The third international workshop on gravitomagnetism and large-scale rotation measurement";. Prof. Zhang Jie gave a simple introduction on aspects of organization structure, scientific research orientation and awards.
The meeting set up three topics: Optical Gyroscope, Gravitomagnetism and Relativity and Atomic, and Optical Gyroscope; besides, there were 15 oral lectures together.
Prof. Li Zhengbin from Peking University introduced the Interferometric Fiber Optic Gyroscope Array for Earth Rotation Measurement. Dr. Liu Kui from HUST did the report titled as Interferometric Fiber Optic Gyroscope Array for Earth Rotation Measurement. Prof. Ulrich Schreibe from Tech. Univ. Munich introduced the long term stable inertial rotation sensing with an active ring laser gyroscope, Dr. Angela Di Virgilio from INFN Pisa introduced the present status of the GINGER project.
Prof. Ni Weidou from the Innovation Academy for Precision Measurement Science and Technology, CAS concluded the Gravitomagnetism and the astronomical reference frame. Dr. Gao Tianquan from Sun Yat-sen University discussed the research on Lunar Laser Ranging System at TianQin Station. Dr. Liliane Biskupek from Leibniz University Hannover did a report titled as Testing Gravitomagnetism and Relativity Using LLR.
During the closing ceremony, Prof. Ni Weidou remarked the meeting and declared, on behalf of conference committee, the fourth international workshop on gravitomagnetism and large-scale rotation measurement will be hold in Italy.
