Dr. Zhu Received his Ph.D. degree in Acoustics from Nanjing University, Nanjing, China, in 2011. In 2012, he joined Prof. Xiang Zhang's group at UC Berkeley, as a Postdoctoral Researcher. He is presently an Associate Professor in the School of Physics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. In the past few years, he has started a series of research programs including NSFC, and the amount of funding obtained is more than 2 Million RMB. Dr. Zhu also actively cooperates with the researchers around the world. His research interests include structured Acoustic/optic materials and metamaterials, Acoustic imaging technology and system, Piezoelectric material and transducers and Experimental acoustics.
