Prof. Chen Xuewen received his B.Eng. (2003) in Chu Kochen Honors College and Ph.D. (2008) in Optics both from Zhejiang University, China.
Currently, he is a Professor in the School of Physics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China.

2008.09-2011.07：He was a Postdoctoral fellow at the Nano-Optics group in the Laboratory for Physical Chemistry, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich), Switzerland.
2011.07-2014.0:6：He then moved with Prof. Vahid Sandoghdar to the Max-Planck Institute for the Science of Light and Physics Department, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in July 2011 and had been working towards Habilitation till June 2014. From April 2013 to July 2013, he was a visiting scholar in the group of Prof. Shanhui Fan, at Edward L. Ginzton Laboratory, Stanford University (USA).
2014.06-present：He accepted the premium the “Thousand Plan (Youth)” award from China and became full Professor at the School of Physics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST).
